EKP-01 SERIES EI₂ 90 / E 120 / EI₂ 60

Our SHAFT doors, designed with high quality with door leaf suitable for double-sided use and easy-to-install hinges, have EI₂90, E120 and EI₂60 fire resistance classifications by an accredited laboratory according to EN 13501-2 standard.

In addition to high fire classification, ELPADOOR doors will offer comprehensive options in your projects with maximum door sizes.

The single leaf steel fire door ” “EKP-01”,  the single-sided door construction, which was tested, were mounted on the masonry carrier construction. The supporting structure is mounted on a wall made of 650kg/m³ aerated concrete blocks with mounting dimensions of 600 mm x 1800 mm (width x height), and 200 mm thickness.

FRAME

Frame posts and head that are made of 1.5 mm-galvanized sheet are welded to each other. Combining is provided by welding method. The gaps between the supporting structure and the frame are filled with polyurethane foam. The steel frame is fixed to the supporting structure with screws. A heat-inflating wick is used on the frame board.

LEAF

It is made of 1.00 mm thick-sheet metal in two parts. The thickness of leaf is 64 mm. Intumescent heat wick tapes are used on the side surfaces of leaf, which is overlapped on 4 sides and between the leaf and the frame.

According to EN 16034-1 Test report; The maximum and minimum dimensions allowed by the classification report of the tested door dimensions are indicated by the fire resistance classes. Apart from the specified dimensions, the fire resistance classes of the doors may differ.

CATEGORY A: It defines the dimensions of the tested door and the strength class it provides.
CATEGORY B: It defines the maximum fire resistance class of the tested door dimensions.

  • 2 pieces of ELPA brand CE certified hinges made of galvanized steel material with the dimensions of 25 x 160 x 3 mm (Ø x l x t) are used on each leaf.
  • It is positioned at a distance of 260 mm from the top and bottom of the door leaf, and at a distance of 35 mm from the edge of the leaf.
  • Hinges with ELPA patent have been tested with the door and also have fire-resistance class.
  • Steel hinges mounted on the frame and the leaf surface are easy to install.
  • The protective covers of steel hinges have a wide range of colors that can be used in harmony with the door accessory.

PAINT EQUIPMENT

The frame surface and the both surfaces of leaf are lined, electrostatic powder paint is applied to them by a thickness of 70 microns, and they are fired at a minimum temperature of 200ºC.
