“EYDK04”, one-way opening, single leaf glazed steel fire door, is mounted on a wall made of gas concrete blocks with a density of 450 kg/m3, 200 mm thick, mounting dimensions of 1050 mm x 2200 mm (width x height).

FRAME

Frame posts and head that are made of 1.5 mm-galvanized sheet are welded to each other. Combining is provided by welding method. The gaps between the supporting structure and the frame are filled with polyurethane foam. The steel frame is fixed to the supporting structure with screws. A heat-inflating wick is used on the frame board. The frames have a graphite joint that is able to expand according to the wall thickness.

LEAF

It is made of 1.20 mm- thick-sheet metal in two parts. The thickness of leaf is 64 mm. Intumescent heat wick tapes are used on the side surfaces of leaf, which is overlapped on 4 sides and between the leaf and the frame.

The table below indicates the maximum and minimum dimensions allowed by the classification report of the door with the serial number “EYDK04”, which was tested. Fire resistance class may vary in fire doors to be preferred outside of these dimensions.

  • 2 pieces of ELPA brand CE certified hinges made of galvanized steel material with the dimensions of 25 x 160 x 3 mm (Ø x l x t) are used on each leaf.
  • It is positioned at a distance of 260 mm from the top and bottom of the door leaf, and at a distance of 35 mm from the edge of the leaf.
  • Hinges with ELPA patent have been tested with the door and also have fire-resistance class.
  • Steel hinges mounted on the frame and the leaf surface are easy to install.
  • The protective covers of steel hinges have a wide range of colors that can be used in harmony with the door accessory.

  • The lever mechanism is highly cranked and permits the use of electrical key cylinders.
  • The panicbar have been tested in accordance with EN 1125, and are suitable for usage in fire doors.

PAINT EQUIPMENT

The frame surface and the both surfaces of leaf are lined, electrostatic powder paint is applied to them by a thickness of 70 microns, and they are fired at a minimum temperature of 200ºC.
